Uzunca bir süredir dosya paylaşımı konusunda birçok yazılım kullanıldı onlarcası geliştirildi ve yine çoğunluğu internet tarihinin tozlu sayfaları arasında yerlerini aldılar.

Aralarından tek bir tanesi ise dünya çapında sayıları hergün artan kullanıcıya ve sunucuya ulaşabilen Ed2k Ağı olarak; geliştirildiği günden itibaren popülerliğini hiç elden bırakmadı. Günümüzde ed2k ağı yerine eMule ismini kullanıyoruz. Zira ed2k ağları için hazırlanan eMule programı o kadar çok kullanıcı tarafından beğenildi ve esnek yapısı sayesinde o kadar çok yazılımcı tarafından özelleştirildi ki basit bir program olarak hazırlanan ve sevenleri tarafından tatlı sıpa olarak bilinen eMule günümüzde milyonlarca kişinin sürekli kullandığı bir işletim sistemi statüsünü kazandı adeta...

Bu tanıtımımızda bahsedeceğimiz Xtreme Mod ise özellikle Türkiye'deki eMule kullanıcıları tarafından tercih edilen ve ciddi sayılarda kullanım oranına sahip olan mevcut ADSL hatlarımızda kullanabileceğimiz en iyi eMule özel yapımlarından biri durumunda. Kurulum dosyası kullanılmıyor Xtreme içinde; yani dosyayı innDirdikten sonra herhangi bir klasöre çıkartıp Xtreme simgesine tıklayıp bu özel eMule'nizi kullanmaya hemen başlayabiliyorsunuz. Eski eMule yapımlarınızdan yükseltme yapacaksanız Temp klasörünüzü ve Config klasörünüz içindeki addresses.dat clients.met known.met cancelled.met gibi kredi ve geçmiş bilgileri dosyalarınızı Xtreme Mod kurulum klasörüne kopyalamanızın yeterli olacağını belirttikten sonra programımızın ayrıntılı özelliklerine geçebiliriz.

Xtreme Mod'un Ayarları :

Xtreme Mod'u bilgisayarımıza kurduktan sonra ayarlar sayfası otomatik olarak açılacaktır. Aşağıda her ayar sekmesi altında değiştirmeniz gereken seçenekleri görebilir; eMule'nizi en iyi performans sunması için rahatlıkla özelleştirebilirsiniz.

EN: eMule Xtreme is a modification of the original eMule filesharing client. It is its aim to use the bandwidth more efficiently and to enlarge the range of the functions. There has been paid special attention to create a stable resource saving mod. eMule Xtreme gives you a some extra features and optimizations. Easy to install and set up this is a must-have for all file sharers. One of the most significant characteristics is its leecher blocking system (leechers are users that download but do not share anything with the community).

eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world. Thanks to it's open source policy many developers are able to contribute to the project making the network more efficient with each release.

• eMule's Queue and Credit system helps to ensure that everyone will get the file he wants by promoting those that upload back to the network.

• Each file checked for corruptions while downloading to ensure an error free file.
• The eMules Intelligent Corruption Control helps to speed up the correction of corrupted parts.
• Auto priorities and Source management allows you to start many downloads without having to monitor them.
• The Preview function allows you to look at your Videos and Archives before they are completed. For video previewing we recommend the Video Lan Client.
• The eMule features webservices and a webserver that allows you to have quick access to and from the internet.
• You can create categories for your download to organize them.
• To find the file you want eMule offers a wide range of search possibilities which include: Servers (Local and Global) web based (Jigle and Filedonkey) and Kad
• eMule also allows you to use very complex Boolean searches that make the searches much more flexible.

Copy ed2k links into clipboard using Ctrl+C and Delete files on hitting the del key.
